Recipe for making bottle gourd cheela
We need to make it
Gourd 1/2 cup
Yogurt 1/4 cup
Gram flour 1 cup
Green pepper 1 tsp
Red Chilli 1 pinch
Coriander 8 to 10
Kasuri Methi 1/2 tsp
Vegetable oil 1 tsp
1 bowl of soft paneer
Water 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
How to make Louki Chilla
To do this, first wash, peel and grate the bottle gourd. Now take it in a bowl.
In a bowl add grated gourd and gram flour and mix. The watery consistency of the gourd bottle helps bind the groundnut.
Now add as much water as required to make the gram flour slightly liquid. This prepares thin batter for Cheela.
Add red chillies, green chillies, kasuri fennel and coriander leaves to the cheela flour and mix it and spread it on the penam.
Put few drops of oil in a pan on medium flame and then pour the batter with the help of ladle or bowl.
Once one side is lightly cooked, flip it. Once it is ready, stuff the soft paneer in it.
Once Cheela is fully cooked, serve with mint and tamarind chutney.
