You need to do this
Moong dal 2 cups
4 cups of water
Onion 1 – chopped
Tomato 1 – Chopped
Chopped cucumber 1 cup
Two spoons of pomegranate seeds
Chopped chillies 1
Black pepper 1 tsp
Turmeric 1 pinch
Chat masala 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tsp
Mint Chutney 1 tsp
Red chilli to taste
Salt to taste
How to make Moong Dal Chat
To prepare this recipe, soak two cups of moong dal in water for 5 to 6 hours.
Separate the dal from the water and take it in a vessel and add 1 tsp oil in a pan and keep it on gas.
Now add a pinch of asafoetida, cumin and fennel in the oil. After frying lightly, add the dal to the penam and stir for a while.
After frying a little, add salt, pepper and turmeric and mix 3 cups of water.
Cover the vessel and cook for a while. Cook the dal until all the water dries up.
After the prepared dal is cooled, take it in a bowl and add onion pieces, tomato and cucumber and mix it.
After this, add chopped green chillies, coriander and grated carrot and mix.
After stirring the mixture add salt, black pepper, chat masala and lemon juice and mix again.
To serve, pour it on a plate and garnish with mint chutney and pomegranate seeds.
