Directions:

1. Take a spoonful of Greek yogurt in a glass.
2. Now, add a layer of fresh berries after the soaked chia seeds on top.
3. Add a layer of curd and refrigerate for half an hour.

2. A ball mixed with dry dates

Required:

  • Pitted dates – 1 cup
  • Mixed dry roasted seeds (like pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, watermelon seeds) – 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Linseed oil to make balls

Directions:

1. Add the pitted dates (which can be soaked in water for 15-20 minutes to soften them) and the dry seeds in a food processor.
2. Blend until the mixture has a sticky dough-like consistency.
3. Scrape the sides of the food processor a few times between processes to make sure all the ingredients are well mixed.
4. Now, add half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
5. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls between your palms using linseed oil.
6. Keep them in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator.

  • Ripe avocado, peeled and pitted – 1
  • Ripe mango, peeled and cut into pieces – 1
  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves
  • Lemon juice (adjust to taste) – 2-3 tbsp
  • Chia seeds – soak 2-3 tbsp
  • Ice cubes – 1 cup
  • Coconut water – 1 cup
  • Additional mint leaves and mango slices for garnish

1. Put the ripe mango and avocado in a blender and blend to a smooth paste.
2. Add mint leaves, lemon juice, ice cubes and blend in a slow cooker. 3. Now add the blended fruit mixture on top and pour fresh coconut water on top.
4. Stir in chia seeds, mint leaves, ice cubes and mango slices for garnish.

4. Makhana fruit chat

Required:

  • Roasted Makhana – 2 cups
  • Mixed chopped fruits (apple, grapes, avocado, pomegranate, guava, mango etc) – 1 cup
  • Chopped cucumber – 1/2 cup
  • Chopped fresh coriander – 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice – 1-2 tsp
  • Chopped dry fruits (cashews, almonds, walnuts, raisins) – 2 tbsp
  • Flax seeds
  • Honey – 1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chat Masala – 1/2 tsp (optional)

Directions:

1. Add roasted makhana, mixed fruits, chopped cucumber and chopped coriander leaves to the large intestine.
2. Squeeze lemon juice over the salad.
3. Sprinkle some salt, pepper and chat masala as per your taste preference.
4. Gently toss the salad until all ingredients are well combined.
5. Sprinkle all the dry fruits, honey and enjoy the refreshing, crunchy fruit chat.

5. Makhana and popcorn salad bowl

  • Roasted Makhana – 1 cup
  • Plain Popcorn – 2 cups
  • Boiled sweet corn – 1/2 cup
  • Cucumber slices – half
  • Grated carrot – half
  • Orange capsicum slices – half
  • Red onion – half
  • Roasted peanuts – 2-3 tbsp
  • Chopped fresh coriander – 1/4 cup
  • Roasted flax seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chat masala (optional) – 1 tsp
  • Soybean oil – 1 tbsp

directions

1. Pre-roast the popcorn, makhana and peanuts and set aside in a pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the toasted makhana, popcorn, peanuts, chopped vegetables and chopped coriander leaves.
3. Drizzle soybean oil over salad mixture and squeeze lemon juice over top and sprinkle with flax seeds.
4. Add little salt and chat masala.
5. Gently toss everything until all ingredients are well combined.
